Yep, it's Flu season alright. On my flight home from Florida a few weeks ago, it seemed as though every person on the plane had some sort of illness. Incessant coughs, sneezes, and blowing noses sounded from nearly every direction--even my own, since not even the man seated next to me had been spared from whatever virus was going around. In an effort to save myself, upon returning home I did some research, tested a few theories and eventually settled upon six of my favorite natural and scientifically-backed methods of warding off a cold and/or flu. A Year in Review: A Few Memorable Moments of 2013

2013 was a great year for many reasons. From Beyonce and Jay-Z making "vegan" once again cool to the Youtube video of a compassionate little kid that went viral on the web, here I share my favorite moments of 2013.

Camel Coated

There is nothing sleeker nor sexier than being draped in a camel-colored coat.  Camel seems to be the magic color that looks good on just about everybody.  In a coat: it's classic, timeless, and gives you the kind of glow only seen in the halos of Renaissance-era angels.

Okay. I know, I know, I know, I said I wouldn't post any food or drink recipes.. but this one, I just couldn't resist! The perfect pick-me-up for a cold, late afternoon in December, hot cacao was exactly what I needed today to lift my spirits...and lift my spirits, it did! This recipe, which I adapted from Valentina Zelyaeva's blog (who has tons of great juice and smoothie recipes) was WAY too good to keep all to myself.
